Following Florida State’s 33-32 Orange Bowl win over Michigan, Seminoles’ head coach Jimbo Fisher, QB Deondre Francois, DE DeMarcus Walker, WR Nyqwan Murray, and RB Dalvin Cook spoke to the media.
The biggest question on everyone’s mind, Dalvin Cook’s NFL Draft decision, will have to wait a little longer, as the Miami native and Orange Bowl MVP announced he still hasn’t made a decision.
Jimbo Fisher praised Francois throughout the presser, tipping his proverbial cap to the redshirt freshman. Fisher went on to reiterate that sometimes performance is far more than the stat line that is next to a player’s name (9-27 for Francois in this case).
Walker talked about his final game in an FSU uniform and what he’ll take away from this game.
Murray had two catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns, including the the game-winner, after earlier hauling in the longest pass in Orange Bowl history, a 92-yard strike from Francois in the first quarter.
