Football:

Florida State will take on the Michigan Wolverines in this year’s Orange Bowl down in Miami. Commissioner Hocutt had this to say about FSU being picked over Louisville.

"The selection committee felt like Florida State was the better football team at the end of this season ... We're looking at the full body of work and we're not basing our rankings and our decisions on one particular game."

Michigan open as touchdown favorite in Vegas; while ESPN’s FPI gives Michigan a 62% chance of winning the match-up.

Big Ten East vs ACC Atlantic; it seems as if the ACC has to prove its mettle once again.

FSU beat George Washington by double digits despite the absence of Jonathan Isaac who missed the game with a minor hip injury.

The Women’s Basketball team routed Western Carolina.

Volleyball staged a tremendous comeback after being down 2 sets to none to defeat Florida 3 sets to 2 in Gainesville to advance to the Sweet 16; tremendous victory for the Volleyball team.
