The invitees to the 2016 NFL Draft Combine have been released, and Florida State is well represented-- specifically, its defense. Five former Seminole defenders have earned an invitation to Indianapolis for the event, which will once again take place at the Colts' Lucas Oil Stadium. Things get going on February 23rd and run through the 29th.
The 'Nole defenders heading north are safety Lamarcus Brutus, defensive tackle Nile Lawrence-Stample, defensive end Giorgio Newberry, versatile defensive back Jalen Ramsey, and inside linebacker Terrance Smith. Kicker Roberto Aguayo was also invited and will attend. The fact that no FSU offensive players were invited is a true testament to the Seminoles' youth on that side of the ball, as Florida State returns all 11 of its offensive starters.
