Noles News 2/17: Florida State Football makes an offer to 2019 cornerback

Florida State made an offer to a current high school freshman on Tuesday.

Recruiting:

Ohio State is treading closer to Tallahassee as the Buckeyes will hold camp just down the interstate in Jacksonville.

-The 'Noles offered 2019 cornerback Max Williams from Junipero Serra (Gardena Ca.), the second offer the current high school freshman received. You can watch his film here.

- Although 2018 small forward Nassir Little has his top-10 schools listed in no particular order, he did put FSU atop everyone.  He has made two unofficial visits to Tallahassee since getting an offer.

Football:

-Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey continues to top big boards for the 2016 NFL Draft, including Matt Miller's latest released today.

Other Sports:

-Football is by far the most popular sport at Florida State, however with the rise of statistics and their availability to everyone, how long would it take for Florida State Baseball to gain an equal fandom than football.

-The NCAA included Dick Howser Stadium in their "5 must-visit college baseball stadiums" for the 2016 season.

-Florida State Baseball freshman catcher Cal Raleigh was named the number three freshman in the nation by D1Baseball.com.
