Profiling Logan Tyler, Florida State punter recruit

The 'Noles gained a couple of big legs for the future. Here's a look at one of them.

Logan Tyler, of Nixa (MO) High School committed to Florida State on June 6 of 2015, adding another monster boot to the Seminoles' recruiting class of 2016. With 'Nole legacy Ricky Aguayo already in the fold, Tyler, per head coach Jimbo Fisher, seems in line to take over the punting duties after Cason Beatty did very well helping to control field position last season.

A lefty, Tyler (6'0, 190) is a composite three-star talent, which is how ESPN, Scout, and 247sports rate him, while Rivals has him as a two-star talent. Jay Graham recruited Tyler to Tallahassee, although the latter also holds offers from Illinois, Central Arkansas, Air Force, and Army. However, he's only visited FSU, and committed the day he was offered. Tyler was honored by being named the USA Today's All-USA Defensive Second Team's punter.

You can follow Tyler on Twitter here.

Tyler scouts himself: "Standing at just 5'11 3/4", I often tell people I'm 6'0" tall to make them respect me more. I've got pretty good hair, but not as good as Ricky Aguayo's, and below average facial hair, but I most likely will suffer with it rather than without it. You can stick me at WR on O and you've got a young Kelvin Benjamin on your hands, or after talking to Coach Haggins, he wants to see what I can do on the DLine. I need to work on my consistency and accuracy in all 3 stages of special teams, and I hope to make an immediate impact from day one."

Bud Elliott: For real, I know nothing about punters.
