2018 defensive back Jalen Norwood, a Tallahassee native, took the five mile trip from North Florida Christian (Fla.) to Doak Campbell stadium for Junior Day. Despite not yet having received an offer from the 'Noles, Norwood holds two offers from Temple and Louisville. After his visit, the high school sophomore described what he went through from experiencing what it was like to live like an FSU player, as well as learning about the education and tutoring that they provide.
At North Florida Christian, Norwood also plays on the baseball team, and although it wouldn't be a deal breaker, he said he would love to play two sports if possible. The Seminoles have had players participate in both sports including former QB Jameis Winston. He measured in today at 5'11, 205 pounds and was told by the coaches that he would look good somewhere in between a linebacker and safety. He currently has no future visits planned.
