Getting an Alabama player away from the Crimson Tide is no small accomplishment. That said, when he's already referring to your campus as feeling like home in his sophomore high school year, you're off to a pretty good start.
That's the sentiment that Montgomery (AL) Park Crossing High School's Tank Jenkins shared after his Junior Day visit to Florida State on Saturday: "Every time I pull that jersey on. I feel like I'm at home." A big part of Jenkins' affinity for FSU is offensive line coach Rick Trickett, whom Jenkins said likes him at guard. Jenkins said he measured 6'2.5 on Saturday, while weighing in at 340 pounds. His offer list is quite impressive; in addition to FSU, it includes Florida, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Louisville, and South Carolina, among others. Jenkins is also being recruited to Florida State by defensive coordinator and DBs coach Charles Kelly.
