2017 athlete Hamsah Nasirildeen was excited by FSU Junior Day offer

Florida State offered the North Carolina prospect who can play on both sides of the ball.

2017 athlete Hamsah Nasirildeen declared, with a smile on his face, that he was excited to have received an offer to Florida State after wrapping up his Junior Day visit in Tallahassee.

Nasirildeen entered Saturday as the No. 3 player from North Carolina and No. 149 overall player in the 2017 recruiting class and now holds 14 scholarship offers including the likes of Notre Dame, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and NC State.

Nasirildeen, who plays on both sides of the ball at wide receiver and safety for his Concord (NC) High School team, said that he is being recruited by FSU to play safety. Even with the offer coming directly from head coach Jimbo Fisher, Nasirildeen stated that he did not feel tempted to immediately jump at the offer and commit because his father reminded him to not commit immediately. He is planning visits to Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Notre Dame, and Penn State in the near future and believes he will make his commitment announcement on National Signing Day.
