2017 four-star safety Cyrus Fagan visited Florida State this weekend for Junior Day, and from what was said after the visit, Fagan liked what Florida State had to present. 24/7 composite rates the Daytona Beach (Fl.) athlete a four-star and ranked him the fourth best safety in the nation and 14th best player in the state of Florida. He currently holds offers from 31 schools such as Florida State, Ohio State, Florida, Georgia an Alabama. Fagan attended Junior Day in Tallahassee last season where he was given his offer. He measured in today at 6'1, 180 lbs.
The high school junior talked about what it would be like to reconnect with former teammate and current 'Nole defensive back, AJ Westbrook, joking that it would become an ESPN 30 for 30. He spoke highly about academics and the importance of an education saying, "I gotta keep my grades up, first thing before football." Fagan spoke with Jimbo Fisher who had a clear message for him---"We want you." In 2014, the safety had a great season, making 83 tackles, breaking up three passes and made five interceptions.
