Florida State Football defensive back Jalen Ramsey in the NFL Scouting Combine

Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey, a projected top-five overall pick, completed . He measured in officially at 6'1, 209 lbs. with 33 3/4" arms and 9 7/8" hands. He was given a pre draft grade of 6.83, the top amongst cornerbacks in the draft, which falls under the "Chance to become Pro Bowl-caliber player" category.

Drills:

40-yard dash: 4.42, 4.46

Bench press: 14 reps (at 225 lbs)

Vertical jump: 41.5", insane.

Broad jump: 11'3, remarkable. The second-best jump since 2006, though a foot short of Byron Jones in 2015.

Three cone drill: 6.94 seconds

20-yard shuffle: 4.18 seconds

60-yard shuffle: 11.10 seconds

The top-rated defensive back in the draft confirmed his status as a world-class athlete with spectacular football skills at the combine on Monday. Ramsey posted impressive measurements (a 4.41-second 40-yard dash, a 41.5-inch vertical jump and an 11-3 broad jump) for a big-bodied safety (Ramsey checks in at 6-foot-1 and 209 pounds) with long arms. In addition, the Florida State standout displayed outstanding quickness and fluidity in a variety of position drills designed to showcase his footwork and movement skills. With Ramsey's résumé full of splash plays and knockout hits, he cemented his reputation as a top-five talent with his strong performance.
