2018 defensive tackle Rick Sandidge receives offer from FSU on Junior Day visit.

Another offer handed out on Junior Day by the Florida State Seminoles.

2018 defensive tackle Rick Sandidge from Concord (NC.) received a scholarship offer from Florida State following his visit to Tallahassee on Junior Day. 24/7 Sports scouts have Sandidge rated as a four-star prospect as well as the 8th best defensive tackle in the nation and sixth best overall player in his home state of North Carolina. Besides Florida State, the 6'4, 260 lbs. high school sophomore holds offers from eight schools including North Carolina, South Carolina, Penn State and Tennessee.

When asked to summarize the visit, Sandidge responded by saying , "It was awesome." He then went on to talk about how he enjoyed the history of the school, mentioning seeing the lockers of Jameis Winston and Dalvin Cook. Last season, he had 43 tackles and 14 tackles for loss on a Concord team that made it all the way to the regional finals. With his athleticism, he can play on either side of the ball in college.
