Florida State Jimbo Fisher press conference updates: Spring Practice begins

New, 66 comments

Jimbo Fisher will hold a press conference before the official start of spring practice on Wednesday.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

At 1:30 PM EST, Jimbo Fisher will hold a press conference to open the Florida State Spring Practice session. The 'Noles have been participating in fourth quarter drills, however this is the official beginning of spring football. Florida State welcomes the addition of seven new early enrollees including QB Malik Henry and kicker Ricky Aguayo, the younger brother of NFL bound Roberto Aguayo.

The biggest question coming into Spring Practice will be the starting quarterback position once the 2016 season begins. Last year's starter Sean Maguire and redshirt freshman Deondre Francois will compete for the starting role and will be the main focus during these next few weeks.

FSU will wrap up spring football practice with their annual spring game which will take place in Orlando this year due to the ongoing renovations at Doak Campbell. The game is scheduled to take place on April 9th at 3 PM.

While you are waiting for the presser to begin, check out each of the position previews we put together for Spring Practice:
