Hear from Jimbo Fisher and Florida State's stars on the spring game

Interviews from players and Jimbo Fisher himself after the Florida State spring game

Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports

Following the Florida State Football spring game in Orlando, Jimbo Fisher and some players spoke about the game itself and spring as a whole.

Jimbo Fisher:

After thanking the Citrus Bowl staff, Fisher spoke about what players he was excited to see and who broke out during spring camp. He also talked about the quarterback situation and how it will play out heading into fall.

DB Derwin James:

James spoke about where the team is following the spring session and talked about his opinion on where he is as a player. The sophomore had a game high nine tackles.

DE DeMarcus Walker:

The defensive end touched on what it means to play in the Citrus Bowl now, giving them some familiarity heading into the 2016 season opener as the 'Noles play Ole Miss in the same stadium. Walker added three tackles and a sack for the Gold squad in the tie.

RB Jacques Patrick:

Patrick told a unique story about playing on this very field as a nine year old, when he was a defensive end. He went on saying he lined up against current Florida State QB Deondre Francois, intercepting him to seal the game. The back led Garnet with seven rushes for 32 yards and a touchdown.

WR Travis Rudolph:

The junior talked about his performance during the spring game, as well as the development from the other receivers. Rudolph caught three passes for 61 yards and a touchdown in the tie.
