- Over the weekend, Florida State lost a key member of its 2017 recruiting class to Alabama.

-Otherwise, it was a very productive weekend for recruiting as multiple highly touted recruits made their way to Orlando for the Seminoles' spring game:

2017 four-star running back Khalan Laborn

2016 signees Levonta Taylor and Dontavious Jackson

Florida State legacy and 2017 linebacker DeCalon Brooks

and Teradja Mitchell, the No. 1 inside linebacker in the 2018 recruiting class

Alumni

- With the NFL Draft quickly approaching, a multitude of mock drafts continue to pour in. Over the weekend, College Spun and Matt Fitzgerald of Bleacher Report released their newest mock drafts and in each mock, FSU's Jalen Ramsey is projected to be the third overall pick to the San Diego Chargers.

Other Sports

- The FSU baseball team earned an incredible series win over the weekend, taking two of three games from the fourth-ranked Louisville Cardinals.

- The Florida State basketball team announced on Friday that sophomore guard Robbie Berwick will be transferring away from FSU.

- In more basketball news, FSU signee Jonathan Isaac participated in the Nike Hoops summit over the weekend and made a great impression on many media members in attendance.
