Florida State baseball rises back into the top five of national polls

After sweeping Notre Dame and Stetson, the 'Noles found themselves climbing the ladders of the national polls.

Following a perfect 5-0 weekend against Stetson and Notre Dame, the 'Noles saw themselves climb in the latest national rankings. Next week, they will face off at Clemson, FSU's only games of the week, on the road.

In the D1 Baseball polls, Florida State rose from No. 7 to No. 5.

The 'Noles jumped up three spots from No. 9 to No. 6 in the NCAA RPI. Their weekend opponent, Clemson, currently ranks No. 10.

Perfect Game USA also moved FSU into the top five, sitting at No. 5 after owning the No. 8 spot in the previous week.

The Seminoles rank the highest of any poll in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll, where they currently stand at No. 3, one point behind No. 2 South Carolina.

USA Today moved up FSU from No. 10 to No. 6 following their 5-0 week. Clemson received the third most votes outside the top 25.

The NCBWA poll has not been released as of yet. Currently, the 'Noles are ranked No. 9.
