Once again, due to weather over the weekend in Boston College, Florida State was only able to play one game, which they won. They did however lose to a consensus top-3 team in UF earlier in the week, finishing with a 1-1 record.
In the D1 Baseball rankings, the 'Noles stayed where they entered this week, at No. 9. Louisville, their opponent this upcoming weekend, jumped four spots to No. 4.
The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper has Florida State beginning the week at No. 5, up from their No.8 ranking last week. They have both of FSU's opponents this week inside the top-20 with Louisville coming in at No. 4. and Texas Tech leapfrogging 10 spots to No. 19.
Perfect Game USA did not move the Seminoles following their 1-1 week, keeping them at the No. 10 spot. Their midweek opponent, Texas Tech, is ranked No. 19. FSU will take on the Red Raiders on Tuesday and Wednesday at home.
In the NCBWA, the Seminoles remained at No.7.
