NCAA: Florida State can have recruits at spring game in Orlando
The Florida State football team will be allowed to host recruits on the sideline and interact with them at Saturday's spring game in Orlando.
As originally reported by Brendan Sonnone of the Orlando Sentinel:
"The National Collegiate Athletic Association granted FSU a limited waiver to provide complimentary admission to recruits because of ongoing construction at Doak Campbell Stadium, an FSU spokesperson told the Orlando Sentinel. The construction prompted FSU to look at other venues for the annual spring game, which will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, but the university ultimately chose Orlando."
This is crucial for Florida State as the spring game, normally hosted in Tallahassee, serves as a major recruiting event of the spring for the Seminoles.
