Former Florida State Baseball players on Opening Day MLB rosters

Take a look at which former FSU Baseball players started this season at the major league level.

Kenny Karst-USA TODAY Sports

To start the 2016 MLB season, there are currently three former 'Noles on MLB rosters.

OF Tyler Holt: Cincinnati Reds

2015 statistics: 14 games 0 HR 0 RBI .097 BA .176 OBP

Holt was sent down to the minors before being recalled just in time for opening day. The 26-year-old has played 50 total games in the MLB for Cleveland, hitting .216 with two doubles.

C Buster Posey: San Fransisco Giants

When people think of former 'Noles in the MLB, Posey is the first name that comes to mind. The MVP award winner had yet another high average season, where he hit .318 with 19 homers and 95 RBI. After a scary injury limited him to just 45 games in 2011, Posey has played in at least 148 games each season since.

2015 statistics: 150 games .318 BA 19 HR 95 RBI .379 OBP

IF Stephen Drew: Washington Nationals

Drew has shifted around the league and the Nationals will mark his fifth different team since 2012. He struggled at the plate last season, hitting just over the Mendoza line at .201 in 131 games played. This may be the last go around for the 33-year-old who has not hit higher than .254 in any season since 2010.

2015 statistics: 131 games .201 BA 17 HR 44 RBI .271 OBP
