Florida State football, recruiting news: Dalvin Cook and Sean Maguire ahead of schedule

Football:

Jimbo Fisher said that running back Dalvin Cook and quarterback Sean Maguire are ahead of schedule on their injury recovery and should be ready by next month.

For the first time since tearing his ACL in last year's preseason practices, Carolina Panthers receiver Kelvin Benjamin participated in practice today.

Roberto Aguayo got a visit from Martin Gramatica in practice today, and both of them spoke to the media following the day.

Recruiting:

FSU extended an offer to 2017 four-star defensive lineman Ryan Johnson from Mobile (Al.). He currently holds other offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Clemson, and LSU amongst 27 other schools.

Florida State baseball moved to 2-0 during ACC pool play, winning their seventh consecutive ACC Tournament game after defeating Georgia Tech.
