Florida State made the top six list of 2017 five-star receiver Trevon Grimes. The St. Thomas Aquinas (Fl.) student released his list last night which included Florida State, Miami, Florida, Ohio State, Georgia and Alabama. 247 composite rankings have the 6'3, 202 lb. target as the 24th best overall player in America and fourth best receiver.

In 'hoops, the 'Noles are one of two schools that small forward David Nickelberry has his mind on. 247 ranks him as the 87th best player in the nation and seventh best overall player in Florida, hailing from Windermere.
Football:
On the Orlando Sentinel's list of 25 players to watch in the SEC this year, three athletes from 'Ole Miss, FSU's first opponent of the season, were named. Those players are QB Chad Kelly, TE Evan Ingram, and DE Marquis Haynes
