As reported by the Tallahassee Democrat, AD Stan Wilcox received a contract extension through 2020. Wilcox has been at the school since 2013 and has seen two national championship teams in football and women's soccer during his tenure.

AL.com is currently listing its top 100 football players from the state of Alabama. Former 'Nole QB Jameis Winston, who hailed from Hueytown, Alabama, came in at No. 35. Currently on the Florida State roster, there are six players that call Alabama their home state.
