Florida State football Nolecast: FSU offense recruiting update after camp

The FSU news and notes you need after the July session of the Jimbo Fisher Camp.

The Nolecast returns for another episode. This time, the discussion is Florida State offensive recruiting following the Jimbo Fisher football camp. FSU is putting together another elite class.

QB:
-Bailey Hockman looked good
-FSU wants two. Discuss why.
-2017 offers: James Blackman, Belle Glade, Jack Sears (Cali), Sam Ehlinger
-2018: No reciprocation
-2019: Grant Gunnell, Bo Nix, Michael Johnson, 3:05

RB:
-Charles Strong discussion
-No Akers, but he does want to make return visit 15:04

WR:
-FSU clearly not going to offer lesser prospects any time soon. Stingy with 2017 WR offers, looking to take 1-2 more.
-Nico Collins not coming down yet again is disappointing and FSU may be trailing Michigan more than people think
-Sources at FSU are waiting on Alabama. Can Tide really take Shavers, Jeudy, Smith, Ruggs, McDonald, maybe Collins, etc.? Weird for FSU to be playing waiting game but Alabama is different beast.
-2018: Derion Kendrick, Rock Hill SC, Gerald Jackson Glade Central (not yet), Jacop Copeland (stopped by, didn't camp), Kevin Austin (not yet offer), Isaiah Bolden maybe playing some offense, Warren Thompson 26:19

TE:
-2018 NY Jeremy Ruckert only good TE at event and he was very good.
-Mike Morris worked out at tight end a lot and only confirmed that he should play DL or OL. 35:15

OL: Leatherwood no-showed. 12 true or redshirt freshmen on roster means small class.
2018: Trey Hill came down and earned an offer. John Campbell Dr. Phillips close, Emil Ekiyor 38:42
