Football:
Florida State has placed 5 players, so far, on watch lists. Dalvin Cook was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List for best offensive player while Derwin James and DeMarcus Walker were named to the Bednarik Award Watch List for best defensive player. Joining them on watch list-a-palooza are Ryan Izzo (John Mackey Award Preseason Watch List for best tight end) and Alec Eberle (Rimington Trophy Fall Watch List for best center).
Speaking of Dalvin, he’s done a few things in Tallahassee:

Our friends at TNIAM ranked the top 5 ACC offensive linemen and 1 Nole made the list. While that’s probably the obvious pick Florida State’s line returns a lot of talent that might not even start. By the end of the year TNIAM might up the number of Noles on their list.
Bovada has Florida State at 5/4 to win the Atlantic and 9/4 to win the conference. Both numbers but FSU just behind Clemson and that seems quite fair. Deshaun Watson is certainly the X-Factor in the equation. This also shows how well Clemson has continued to recruit.
