David Hale, an ACC writer for ESPN, fielded a number of questions concerning Florida State in his latest mailbag.

No ACC player had more plays of 20-plus yards than Dalvin Cook (27), and it's hard to argue his big-play ability.

A pair of Seminoles are on SI’s list of the 10 ACC players to watch for.

2. Dalvin Cook, Florida State RB

Cook set Florida State record for rushing yards and all-purpose yards in a season en route to first-team All-ACC honors. After finishing seventh in the 2015 Heisman Trophy voting, he'll be on the short list to win the award next season.

5. Roderick Johnson, Florida State OT

Florida State's 6'7", 323-pound behemoth of a left tackle started every game in 2015 and received the ACC Jacobs Blocking Trophy, which is awarded to the conference's best blocker. The All-ACC first team selection will clear running lanes for Dalvin Cook again in 2016.

Trevor Matich, a college football analyst for ESPN, named Florida State’s players’ lounge as his favorite in the country.

After news broke over the weekend that sophomore standout Derwin James underwent minor surgery recently to repair a foot injury, James took to Twitter to make it known that he plans to be back for Florida State’s showdown with Ole Miss on September 5th.

Recruiting

On Friday, Florida State landed another 2018 commitment in the form of four-star offensive lineman Christian Meadows.

As of last night at midnight, college football coaches are now allowed to interact with recruits on social media by liking/favoriting/retweeting what is posted by the recruits.

Alumni

With NFL training camps now in full swing, former Seminoles are impressing on and off the field.
