Football:

Can the 2016 Seminoles make history, can lightning strike twice for the Seminoles? Fox Sports’ Stewart Mandel certainly thinks so as he is projecting this year’s squad to go an unprecedented 15-0 on its way to the program’s fourth national title.

A touted redshirt freshman quarterback. Three proven receivers. An experienced offensive line that’s gone through the rough patches together. A scary defensive line. An All-America caliber safety. All of those things would have appeared on a preseason scouting report of Florida State’s 2013 national championship team. All of them are present again heading into 2016 -- with the additional wrinkle of a returning All-American tailback.

15-0 against this year’s schedule would put this team among the pantheon of Seminole greats. Is this an outlandish prediction from Stewart, how close do you think the Seminoles could come to matching it?

FSU gave us an inside look at the new video board today and it is gorgeous.

Ole Miss lost a running back to academic casualty. He was their typically third-string, power back with some explosiveness to him; he’ll be replaced by talented freshman Eric Sweeney.

Chip Patterson of CBS Sports ranked Florida State vs Clemson as the #2 overall modern rivalry in the country and included a quote from Dalvin Cook on the subject:

"That's a game that the fans and the players and our whole staff look forward to,"Dalvin Cook told CBS Sports. "They recruit talent just like we do so you've got to respect the game. That's just become the rival between Florida State and Clemson and I love it
