Football:

In a practice that Jimbo Fisher called largely average Da’Vante Phillips returned from a bone bruise and shined. Coach Fisher praised his route-running, toughness, and ability to make contested catches; attributes that will be very useful to a young quarterback like Francois. In offensive line news with backup center, Corey Martinez, missing time with an MCL injury Florida State was fortunate enough to get starting center, Alec Eberle, back from a concussion.
