One player that generated a ton of buzz this summer was Florida Vipers power forward RaiQuan ‘Turk’ Gray. Today, Gray decided to end his recruitment, and chose Florida State over Baylor, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, and Memphis.

The 6-8 Gray is a bit undersized at PF, but he has an intriguing skillset which has led to comparisons with Golden State’s Draymond Green. He has a strong body to go along with passing and play making skills. Coach Hamilton wants to have four guys on the court who can stretch the defense, and Gray is a great fit.
He is currently a consensus 3* recruit, but after this summer expect that he’ll be bumped up. ESPN and 247 already list him as a 4*. He’s set to play his senior season at Dillard HS in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Gray is the 2nd commit for what could be a large 2017 class, joining 3* guard Bryan Trimble Jr. who committed in June.
