Jimbo Fisher was not particularly thrilled with his team’s effort in the Spring and had quite a few choice words for them personally and through the media. Looking at the off season gains it seems his message was heard loud and clear and Fisher is thinking big this year.

Bud Elliot notes that while the ACC’s reputation is on the rise Florida State and Clemson’s reputation is rising faster in recruiting. Can the rest of the ACC benefit from any of this?

Bleacher Report jumps on the train and picks the Noles to win it all in 2016.

Noles in the pros

The LA Rams released their depth chart for week 1 of the pre-season and Lamarcus Joyner will make the start at DB.

Recruiting

As expected Bradley Jennings Jr has committed to Miami. Jennings, a Florida State legacy, has many connections to the coaching staff in Coral Gables as Mark Richt, Manny Diaz and Ron Dugans were at Florida State at the same time Bradley Jennings Sr was.

Basketball

RaiQuan Gray has committed to Leonard Hamilton and the Florida State basketball team. Gray is a 3-4* 6-foot-8 280lb power forward that can stretch the floor.

Golf

Former Noles Daniel Berger and Brooks Koepka finished in the top 10 of the Traveler’s Championship leaving them both in the top 15 of the most recent Ryder Cup standings.
