Matthew Thomas' career at Florida State has been an emotional roller coaster, to say the least. He has missed time with a shoulder injury as well as a pair of suspensions, the most recent of which caused him to miss the entirety of the 2015 season. Still, Thomas, a former five-star recruit out of Miami, has been making the most of his opportunity as a full-time starter in his fourth season as a Seminole.
On Monday, Thomas addressed the media for the first time this season, handling questions on a wide variety of topics. In the interview, attached below, Thomas talks about how he stayed game ready while sitting out from games and practices for an entire year, who stayed close with him on the team while he was ineligible, if the thought that he may never play again at FSU ever crossed his mind, and how much it has meant to get back onto the field this season.
