The ‘Noles will look to bounce back from a woeful performance at Louisville last Saturday, as they’ll again hit the road, this time heading south to Tampa. Awaiting are the 3-0 South Florida Bulls, whom FSU defeated soundly last season in Tallahassee by a score of 34-14.

The Seminole defense will once again be without safety Derwin James, as expected, as James continues to heal after knee surgery. The same is true of defensive end Josh Sweat, who also went under the knife for a meniscus injury. Frosh receiver Keith Gavin could miss time with a toe injury. Back from last week’s injury report are WR Ja’Vonn Harrison and DE Adam Torres, who helps return some depth on the edge for Florida State.

Questionable:

QB Sean Maguire (foot)

WR Keith Gavin (foot)

Out (bold denotes out for season):

DT Darvin Taylor (shoulder)

DB Derwin James (knee)

DE Josh Sweat (knee)

OL Corey Martinez (knee)

WR George Campbell (core muscle)

DE Keith Bryant (foot)

LB Sh'Mar Kilby Lane (academically ineligible)
