UPDATED at 215 pm w/ AP Poll:

FSU again moves up one spot to 3rd, trailing only the Tide & Tigers. However, Florida State received more 1st-place votes than Clemson.

UPDATED at 1250 pm w/ USA Today Poll:

FSU is up to 3rd (behind Bama & Clemson).

On Tuesday, following the last game of college football’s Week 1 slate, the updated AP and USA Today Coaches polls will be released. Following a school record 22 point comeback by Florida State, the team should expect to rise from its current ranking.

In the AP, the ‘Noles came into Monday’s Ole Miss game ranked No. 4 with the Rebels ranked No. 11. Ahead of Florida State is No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Clemson who both were victorious in its games, and should expect to stay at its respective rankings. No. 3 Oklahoma fell to No. 15 Houston, which should allow Florida State to rise up one spot.

The USA Today Coaches Poll had Florida State ranked at No. 4 as well, with the same three teams in front of them as in the AP, in that same order. The ‘Noles should jump inside the top three, taking over Oklahoma’s spot.

The AP Poll will be released at 2 PM EST and the USA Today Coaches Poll will be released some time on Tuesday.
