Recruiting:
Florida State had a good Friday when teammates Ontario Wilson & Tamorrion Terry committed to FSU.
Then yesterday evening 3-star defensive end & former Tennessee commitment Tre Lawson pledged to the Seminoles. Tre Lawson is someone defensive ends coach Brad Lawing has wanted for a long time.
Finally the nation’s top long-snapper & Tallahasse native Grant Glennon is headed to FSU. He will greyshirt and enroll at FSU in January of 2018.
With the first weekend of post dead period visits in the books FSU’s recruiting picture should look much clearer.
The top linebacker left on FSU’s board, 4-star Levi Jones will host a bunch of Seminole defensive coaches this evening. (VIP)
James Blackmon current FSU commit feels at home at Florida State following his official visit.
Decalon Brooks, son of FSU legend Derrick Brooks, is all in. His father is re-living his FSU days through his talented son.
Football:
Opening weekend is a long ways away but it looks to be a good one with the headliner being Florida State vs Alabama.
The ACC was the best conference in college football in 2016; will we see a repeat in 2017?
Consistency is the name of the game:
Interesting stat: Only five schools have finished in the top-25 for five consecutive years. Alabama, Ohio St, Clemson, FSU, Wisconsin.

Basketball:
After a tough loss at UNC the Seminoles have no time to pout as two top 25 teams travel to Tallahassee this week. Things are getting weird in the best conference in the land.
The Women’s basketball team put a hurting on Clemson. They really clobbered them.
Alumni:
Devonta Freeman had a phenomenal debut to his playoff career: 125 total yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 pair of broken, Seattle Seahawk ankles:
Wouldn't be a @DevontaFreeman run without at least one player put on skates. #RiseUp #SEAvsATL https://t.co/4T0xOIcPeY
