Coming into the week ranked No. 20, Florida State Men’s basketball had two big victories over Wake Forest and on the road against No. 12 UVA this past week to open ACC play.
In the newest rankings released on Monday, FSU jumped up eight spots to No. 12. The ‘Noles are now the fourth highest ranked ACC team behind Duke at No. 8, Louisville at No. 9 and UVA at No. 11.
In total, there are seven ranked ACC teams with UNC at No. 14, No. 21 VT and No. 23 Notre Dame all trying to catch up.
The ‘Noles only have one game in the upcoming week against No. 21 Virginia Tech at home on Saturday. Tip off is scheduled for 2 PM.
In the RPI rankings, FSU is No. 10, just behind Louisville at No. 9, and Virginia Tech (12-1 and AP’s No. 21), Florida State’s next opponent, is ranked No. 43.
