Football:
Florida State opened as a one point favorite over Miami for 30 minutes as the line was quickly pushed to Miami -3 by bettors. If the early money is any indication many believe this is the year Miami breaks the streak.
For the first time in six years FSU is un-ranked in both the Coaches & the AP Poll; maybe if FSU’s coaches didn’t continually mismanage its very talented players voters would have more confidence in this year’s Seminoles.
You won’t find FSU in ESPN’s top 25 Power Rankings either but winning cures all.
Here’s what we learned on offense, defense, and special teams following the victory over Wake Forest.
FSU fans can take solace in the fact that their true freshman quarterback has two huge, talented wide receivers that make plays in the clutch.
All the preseason talk about Tarvarus Mcfadden and Derwin James but now it’s time to put some respect on Kyle Meyers’ name.
Clemson appears to be running away from the pack in this year’s ACC race.
Is Saquon Barkley a Heisman lock?
If I had a Heisman vote my September Heisman vote would go to Stanford’s Bryce Love; he’s currently running behind FSU alum, Mike Bloomgren’s, offensive line.
Recruiting:
Warren Thompson, an Oregon commit and one of the top targets on FSU’s WR board, will be making his third visit to FSU since he committed to Oregon. It will be an official.
FSU is still working hard to flip Alabama LB commit, Quay Walker, to the good guys.
Watch FSU LB commit Rosendo Louis lay a mean lick; does anyone believe this wouldn’t be targeting in the ACC?

The New York Giants defense has been terrorizing QBs since 2016; all Jameis Winston did was throw for 332 yards with three TDs & zero interceptions vs them. It was his seventh game-winning drive of his young career:
