Weather: The good news is there’s no hurricane headed directly Tallahassee. The bad news is Nate will bring the potential for rain throughout the game. Thankfully, over the last few hours, the chances have been decreasing. Rain chances are 35% at kickoff increasing to 52% by the end of the game. Bring your rain gear. Also, that includes chance of thunderstorms, so there’s a possibility for delays. Wind SSE at 10 mph. The rain and cloud cover will keep the temperature in the low 80s.

The Spread: FSU opened as a 1 point favorite. That shifted quickly as money started coming in for Miami. ‘Canes are now favored by 2.5 to 3.5 points. See the rest of the Saturday’s odds here.

Rivalry weekend. While FSU has played very good to great teams (this is ridiculous), they struggled against a much less talented Wake Forest team. Batting down a Hail Mary pass in the final seconds isn’t the confidence boost fans were looking for. So now, a season can be at least salvaged with a win against rival Miami. If not, ‘Noles are looking at 1-3 and and 0-2 in conference play. In October. Will the ‘Noles have enough to pull the upset in Doak?
