Florida State wide receiver Keith Gavin suffered a knee injury in the the third quarter on a kick return. Gavin remained on the field in pain, and was helped off the field without any force on that right knee.
The Florida State receiving corps are already thin with Auden Tate and George Campbell playing at less than 100%.
Up to that point, the 6’3 221 lb. sophomore had a team high three catches for 24 yards. On the season, he ranked second with 134 receiving yards on 14 catches.
Campebll and Tate will continue to play on the edges with freshman 6’4 191 lb. receiver Tamorrion Terry listed on the depth chart behind Gavin.
Gavin emerged from the injury tent, and immediately put him on a cart that took him straight to the locker room. He was unable to put any pressure or move that injured right knee.
