With this week’s college basketball AP and Coaches polls unveiled Monday afternoon, Florida State’s men’s basketball team is ranked for the first time this season.

A week ago, FSU was receiving votes in both polls, but after a 3-0 week that included a dismantling of No. 5 Florida on the road, and a runaway win over Tulane in Tampa, the Seminoles vaulted into both polls, ranked 19th in each.

FSU is 9-0 for the first time since the 2003-04 season, and is one of seven remaining unbeaten teams.

The Seminoles were ranked throughout the 2016-2017 season on their way to a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. However, they started this season on the outside looking in after losing eventual NBA Draft picks in Jonathan Isaac and Dwayne Bacon.

FSU has the week off in order to take final exams. The ’Noles take the court again Saturday vs. Oklahoma State in the Orange Bowl Classic in Sunrise.
