Recruiting:

With the early signing period one week away FSU is about to have its biggest recruiting weekend of the year; there will be at least five blue-chip visitors on hand this weekend (could be up to 12 total prospects):

4-star WR Warren Thompson, 4-star SDE Malcolm Lamar, 4-star CB Isaiah Bolden, 4-star CB commit Asante Samuel, Jr., & 4-star DT commit Robert Cooper will all be on campus in the coming hours.

Former WR commit Antoine Green will also be on campus:

4-star defensive back Divaad Wilson is the latest DB to receive an offer from FSU:

Bud Elliott updated FSU’s secondary recruiting board with some very interesting names.

FSU recently made a move with 5-star Offensive Tackle, Nicholas Petit-Frere. (VIP)

Florida State head coach Willie Taggart and area recruiter Lawrence Dawsey dropped in on Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep five-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere earlier this week, on Monday, per Berkeley Prep head coach Dominic Ciao.

Petit-Frere is not expected to make a decision until National Signing Day.

The 6-foot-6, 272-pound offensive tackle has used two officials to this point in his recruitment, making his way to Michigan and Notre Dame. Alabama and Florida are also believed to be top contenders for his services.

When it comes to recruiting graphics Willie Taggart gets it:

Telly Lockette won’t be coaching running backs; he’ll take over for the recently departed Tim Brewster.

Basketball:

FSU Basketball is off to a 9-0 start and if you ask Doug Gottlieb they’re one of the eight best teams in the country:
