Some things happened this week. Long story short, Odell Haggins will be trying to get the ‘Noles bowl eligible against the ULM Warhawks.

Gameday Central: Get to 6 and Bowl

ULM at Florida State 12:00 PM ET

Watch: ACC Network (check local listings)

Listen: ‘Nole Radio Network, Warhawk Radio Network

Weather: Beautiful day for the season finale. Temperature will be 71 at kickoff, warming to about 74 by the end of the game. Partly cloudy skies, no rain, winds WSW at 4 mph.

The Spread: Florida State opened as a 27 point favorite. Even after this circus of a week, the ‘Noles are still favored by 26 to 27 points. Find the rest of today’s spreads here.

Game Coverage: Staff Predictions, Opponent Q&A, Who is the Coach Today?, Who is calling the Plays?, Who is Going to Coach Next Year?

You can see from the game coverage, we’ve been a little busy writing about things that aren’t directly ULM related. But they are football related. So, after a week unlike any ‘Nole fan has ever seen, we still have a game to play.

Florida State is trying to keep the nation’s longest bowl streak alive and end the season with a winning record. Neither of these records have been in jeopardy since 2009, when a timely return from Greg Reid helped FSU get to 6 wins. The ‘Noles would go one to beat West Virginia and send out Bobby Bowden with a 7-6 record.

In an insane 2017, 7-6 is the target for the ‘Noles once again. To get there, FSU needs to beat ULM in a rescheduled game. ULM has a decent offense but their defense isn’t great (gave up 67 points to Arkansas State). The Warhawks had a 3 game skid against Georgia State, South Alabama, and Idaho. The almost 27 point line seems right, even with the circus surrounding Tallahassee and the program.

It’s Championship Weekend! True, that doesn’t include FSU, but bowl eligibility day is still very important. After the Florida State game, you might want to check out the Georgia/Auburn rematch in the SEC Championship game. Or maybe you would like to see which team the ACC is sending to the final 4. Will it be Miami or Clemson? Enjoy the last regular season day. Our next Gameday Central will be for the bowl game (fingers crossed).
