After dropping two straight on the road, FSU returned home to the friendly confines of the Donald L. Tucker center and promptly blew out Boston College for Leonard Hamilton’s 500th career win.
The Eagles were never in this game as FSU jumped out to a quick 18-8 lead and didn’t look back.
The ‘Noles led 55-31 after a completely dominant first half, and continued to roll in the 2nd half, finishing at 104-72. 13 guys played 9+ minutes, and everyone scored at least four points.
Dwayne Bacon, who became the 2nd sophomore (Bobby Sura) to score 1,000 points for Florida State, led FSU with 16 points. PJ Savoy scored 15 points in 13 minutes. Jonathan Isaac had 14, and Jarquez Smith scored 10. Xavier Rathan-Mayes had a great all-around game, notching 10 assists to go along with seven points, five rebounds, and zero turnovers.
FSU improved to 22-6 (10-5), and next play Saturday at Clemson.
