Recruiting:

The second weekend of Junior Days are here & FSU is expecting multiple 5-star prospects on campus. Those names include Anthony Lytton (CB ‘18) Taron Vincent (DT ‘18) & Alabama commit Trey Sanders (RB ‘19)

4-star Defensive End, Justin Mascoll ‘18 (teammate of current FSU commit Robert Cooper) will also be visiting this weekend.

Recent defensive end commit Kayode Oladele is all-in on defensive ends coach Brad Lawing.

Could FSU land another bluechip defensive tackle out of Houston?

One QB name high on FSU’s board is Penn State commit Justin Fields; here are a few of his throws from the Nike Opening Regional.

Football:

Do you need FSU vs Alabama ticket information? You’re in luck.

Can Willie Taggart make Oregon a contender again?

Hugh Freeze’s defiance (some may call it arrogance) could lead to Ole Miss’ downfall.

Is it snitching or is it payback? Either way Ole Miss is determined to not go down alone.

Other Sports:

FSU is breaking out a new weekend rotation & shoring up its bullpen ahead of weekend series with Samford.

Softball’s Jessica Burroughs was named National Pitcher of the Week, congratulations to her.

The Seniors dominated as the Women’s Basketball team cruised to a 31 point home victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Men’s Basketball is currently a 3-seed in Bracketology but 3 strong victories to end the season (including a victory over Duke) and a decent showing in the ACC tournament could put them in line for a high 2 seed. Just how high do you think that this year’s squad will climb?

Alumni:

Jameis Winston got in to some trouble regarding some poor word choices in a forty-five minute speech he gave at an Elementary School. My interpretation? A 23-year old from a rural upbringing raised under Early-Modern notions about gender roles in society made some poor albeit well-intended comments without considering ever evolving roles of gender & non-conformity in a contemporary society. What do you think?

How does your FSU hat collection measure up to this one?
