After falling in the AP Poll the last two weeks, Florida State men’s basketball is finally trending upward, climbing from No. 19 to No. 15. The Seminoles played two games this past week, defeating Boston College at home, before getting a road win at Clemson.
Florida State’s rank of 15th is third in the ACC, behind No. 5 UNC and No. 8 Louisville. Four other teams are ranked in the Atlantic Coast Conference: Duke at No. 17, Notre Dame at No. 19, Virginia at No. 23, and Miami at No. 25.
In the RPI, FSU sits 12th, once again behind UNC at No. 3 and Louisville at No. 4 among ACC squads.
In the upcoming week, the ‘Noles have two games to conclude their regular season. On Tuesday, FSU travels to Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham to face Duke. The Blue Devils hold the No. 13 spot in the RPI. On Saturday, Miami (FL) will make a visit to Tallahassee. The Hurricanes currently sit at No. 35 in the RPI.
Florida State already played (and defeated) both of these opponents this season, beating Duke at home and Miami (FL) on the road.
