Following two wins in the past week over Miami (FL) and Clemson, Florida State men’s basketball moved up one spot in the AP Top 25 from No. 15 to No. 14. The ‘Noles are ranked ahead of Kentucky and Duke at No. 15 and No. 18 respectively.
In the ACC, five teams are currently ranked with Louisville the highest at No. 4. Farther down is UNC at No. 8, Virginia at No. 12 and Duke at No. 18. Notre Dame received 33 votes which would be good for 28th.
In the RPI, FSU now sits at No. 6, third in the ACC behind Louisville at No. 3 and UNC at No. 4.
Coming up this week, Florida State hosts NC State on Wednesday before traveling to Notre Dame on Saturday. In the RPI, North Carolina State is just inside the top 100 at No. 99. The Fighting Irish are No. 28 which includes a loss to FSU earlier this season.
