Florida State finished the regular season with a loss at No. 17 Duke and followed that with a home victory over No. 25 Miami to finish a perfect 18-0 at home. After that performance, FSU moved back from its previous spot at No. 15 in the AP Poll to No. 16, right ahead of Florida at No. 17.
The No. 16 ranking is fourth in the ACC, behind UNC at No. 6, Louisville at No. 10 and Duke at No. 14
In the RPI, Florida State finishes the regular season ranked No. 11, third in the ACC. The only Atlantic Coast Conference teams ahead are Louisville at No. 3 and UNC at No. 4.
FSU earned a double-bye in the ACC Tournament and will not play until Thursday. The ‘Noles will play the winner of Virginia Tech, ranked No. 45 in the RPI, and the winner of the round one matchup between Boston College (No. 211) and Wake Forest (No. 32)
