Dameyune Craig is returning to Florida State’s staff as a quality control analyst. Dameyune Craig was a member of FSU’s staff from 2010-12 as a quarterbacks coach and a premier recruiter. Dameyune is best known to FSU fans for being instrumental in the recruitment of Seminoles’ legend, Jameis Winston. After leaving Tallahassee he spent three years at Auburn as Co-Offensive Coordinator & Wide Receivers coach before spending a year at LSU as Wide Receivers coach.
A former quarterback for Auburn; Craig is very familiar with Coach Fisher having played for him at Auburn, coached for him as a GA at LSU, and most recently as a staff member at FSU. Many may wonder why a highly sought after position coach would take a role as an analyst but next year the NCAA will be making the 10th coach rule official allowing Craig to be a full-time staff member. Joining the staff now allows Dameyune to build relationships with recruits in the 2018 class & beyond now before eventually being allowed to hit the road to recruit.
