Football:

Very good as Florida State’s revamped offensive line will be facing perhaps the nation’s toughest slate of pass rushers in 2017.

This fall brings a slate that includes three teams that finished in the top five nationally in sacks and five schools that finished in the top 10 among Power 5 schools in defensive yards per rush play.

For starting QB Deondre Francois; it’s all about consistency.

The Seminoles wide receiver flashed with a 92-yard touchdown in the Orange Bowl last season, but he'll have to become more consistent to support QB Deondre Francois.

According to this; the big ten has the best roster of coaches in college football.

The ACC championship is back in North Carolina:

FSU is in a bit of numbers crunch with its current scholarship count.

Recruiting:

A four-star defensive tackle is set to visit FSU on Monday (VIP); he’s from the same high school as 2017 safety/athlete signee Hamsah Nasirildeen.

4-star DB Jalyn Davis out of Alabama is high on FSU and will be visiting again this summer before making a decision.

“It went well, we spent a lot of time with coach (Jimbo) Fisher and coach (Charles) Kelly. I think my mom feels comfortable at the school,” Armour-Davis told Hank South of 247Sports. “She’s been to Auburn and Florida State, so she’s really starting to get the feel of how it is at each school. They’re all great places to be. We’re still going to weigh are options. I think she liked FSU.”

The story of how FSU found 2017 defensive end signee, Tre Lawson, is a good one.

Coach Brewster is spending some quality time in Miami; I dont think Cane fans will like what he had to say about the mythical ‘State of Miami’:

Other Sports:

The recruitment of 5-star Small Forward Kevin Knox is coming down to the wire.

Florida is getting a huge transfer:

Baseball took care of business vs Stetson. At 24-15 they don’t have much leeway left but they’re finally healthy.

A familiar face threw out the first pitch:

He should probably stick to sacking quarterbacks.

Alumni:

Jameis Winston, Javien Elliott and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are this year’s participant in HBO’s Hard Knocks:

Tre Jackson wasn’t unemployed for long as he was claimed by the St. Louis Rams.
