No former assistant has beaten Nick Saban can Jimbo Fisher become the first? Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples attempts to answers the question and identified the key match-up in the Alabama-Florida State game.

Florida State hasn’t had a 1,000 yard WR since 2014; can Noonie Murray break that streak?

Florida State’s skill players are as inexperienced as they are talented & they’re ultra-talented.

This espn article ranks the best the Florida State teams of all-time & surprisingly 2013 is not number one. (Insider)

3. Season: 2013

76.3 points (14-0, ACC & national champions)

Top players: Lamarcus Joyner, Timmy Jernigan, Cameron Erving, Bryan Stork, Roberto Aguayo, Jameis Winston

This incredibly talent roster included eight players who were named to a first-team All-American team, four players who were named consensus All-Americans and a first-team freshman All-American in Jalen Ramsey. The 2013 Seminoles closed the regular season by winning their last five games by a combined 280-34 score. That led to a BCS title game tilt against Auburn, a contest won when Kelvin Benjamin caught a touchdown pass with only 13 seconds left in the game. Had it not been for the second lowest SOS score (1.3) and 19th ranked overall schedule, this team may have ranked first on this list.

Speaking of 2013, Former Seminole all-time great Jameis Winston let his favorite target down easy when asked this ridiculous question:

ESPN released its first edition of the ESPN300 and quite a few Seminole commitments made the list.

Florida State is 6th in the early rankings with 8 of its 9 commitments being of the blue-chip variety.

Florida State QB signee James Blackman is the kind of you want to root for.

JN: What’s your motivation for all of this?

JB: My mom, man. My mom wakes up every morning to go to work about 5am. I watch her get ready every morning and I remind myself that I just have to go hard for her. I want to make a better life for her because of all the things she’s done to make me into the man I am today.

My other motivation is my grandma that died. She raised me. I took it real hard when she died because she was my best friend. I used to go with her on the weekends just to sit and talk with her. She taught me a lot. She taught me how to be a young man, a respectful young man.

Dalvin Cook spent the day in Bristol going through ESPN’s carwash; he conducted himself well and didn’t shy away from tough questions.

Speaking of Cook this mock draft has him going to the Buccaneers & it says he’ll be a serious candidate for Rookie of the Year if this happens.

You don’t want to miss; former Seminole Travis Rudolph shares his story:

When Miami fans tell you that they’re going to beat FSU this year; just react like Dalvin and everything will be fine:
