Florida State’s 2019 recruiting class is off too a phenomenal start and it just got bigger (no pun intended) as four-star Offensive Tackle, Wanya Morris, has committed to FSU. At 6’5 270lbs, the blue-chip recruit is the anchor of the Grayson offensive line and one of many talented Power 5 level recruits at the school. Morris is the 5th member of #Tribe19 and it’s highest rated recruit so far checking in at No. 75 Nationally and No. 6 overall at his position. He committed to FSU over offers from Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and Miami. He is teammates with heavily coveted FSU targets, Kenyatta Watson II, and 5-star top 5 national recruit, Owen Pappoe.
An absolute mauler in the ground game (to be expected as Grayson runs the triple option); Morris has a very powerful base and is very light on his feet with plenty of room to grow as he is a rising junior with most of his weight and power is in his lower body. He finishes blocks with a ferocity that is akin to current Seminoles such as Landon Dickerson or Cole Minshew. Check out his sophomore highlights below:
Without further ado I'm verbally committed to FSU ‼️#FSU #unconquered @therealkwat @MurfBaldwin @ChadSimmons_ pic.twitter.com/CYJMhDLshn
