Football:
Can Cam Akers carry the load? ESPN’s David Hale believes that he can & while Dalvin Cook is irreplaceable he’s not expecting much of a drop-off for FSU’s offense.
The two ACC-Atlantic teams whom’s stock is rising following spring practice? A tribe and a pack.
Buy. It would’ve been nice to see a firm starting five emerge on the offensive line, but a spring of developing depth in the area most critical to FSU’s 2017 success isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Add in the solid springs from young talents like Cam Akers and Levonta Taylor and the healthy return of Derwin James and the Seminoles' stock might be ready to take off.
Last year ACC football was all about defense; best RB in FSU history; two first round quarterbacks neither of which were the ACC’s heisman winner and a plethora of other talented offensive players; this year? It’s the year of the the Defense.
Concerned about ESPN’s layoffs & how it might affect the 2019 launching of the ACC Network? Don’t be:

A series victory over top 5 Oregon this weekend & the Seminoles will have a strong chance of reclaiming its No.1 ranking.
FSU Basketball received its first commitment for the class of 2018.
Alumni:
Is Dalvin Cook a lock Rookie of the Year? Two NFL executives seem to think so.
These answers make a lot of sense. Fournette and Cook figure to get a lot of touches for their respective teams, while Howard is ready-made to play with a talented young passer like Jameis Winston. A couple other rookies I'd keep an eye on: Packers running back Jamaal Williams and Titans wide receiver Corey Davis. I think Williams will quickly emerge as the power back for Green Bay and Davis should become Marcus Mariota's favorite target in short order.
Former Seminole Malik Beasley had his High School jersey retired:
