Florida State’s 2018 recruiting class just got a serious boost of speed to its ranks with the signing of 3-star wide receiver, D’Marcus Adams, who hails from Mainland HS in Daytona, Florida. At 6’0 170lbs., Adams is a blazer reportedly running a 4.37 40 at the Jimbo Fisher Camp last summer. Adams is ranked 421st in the 247 composite, 71st at his position, and 74th in the state. He was offered by Jimbo Fisher, and it didn’t take long for him to pick FSU over offers from Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers, Connecticut, Minnesota, UCF, and others.
Adams is also a standout track field athlete with a 22 foot long jump and a 15.1 110m hurdles time as a high school sophomore. On tape Adams shows tremendous speed, leaping ability, and ball skills able to completely pluck the ball out of air without letting it come in to his body as seen below:
